MTN NIGERIA PROMO SCAM ALERT

It's quite unfortunate that some folks are still into the dirty act of scamming fellow Nigerians. I know that there's nothing we can do to stop them, because it's turning into a way of life, but at-least We can notify our friends about their latest acts so they don't fall victim.

My elder sister recently received an SMS on her phone in this format:

"Yello!! Your number have win 50,000 Naira AIRTIME. In The MTN 1 Billion Award. Visit {www.mtncan.org} For Your Line To Be Now. Your Code is 3232"

At first I knew this was a typical Scam Message due to the poor grammatical constructions e.t.c. On a second thought I decided to check the website, and this is what I got:

This is not MTN NIGERIA official website, and it looks so unprofessional with bad graphics. I went further to type in the code that was in the SMS, and this is the result.

Finally, I was asked to submit N3,000 MTN recharge... What a shame. Don't fall to scam messages like this. www.mtncan.com is a scam, MTN NIGERIA would never ask you to pay in order to redeem any prize; all MTN NIGERIA PROMO is always advertised on TV and Radio Stations Nationwide. 

You can give it a try visit www.mtncan.org type the code 3232, and you'll be asked to type in Two MTN N1,500 recharge card pin.
